Making the Most of Your Membership:

The biggest difference between free and paid accounts is transparency - with a Summit membership, you'll see exactly which coaches are watching your video, viewing your profile, and evaluating your transcripts. This allows you to follow up strategically with schools showing genuine interest rather than guessing who might be looking at you.

Action Steps

Freshman

For Freshmen:

  • Focus on building a complete profile with updated video, academics, and basic athletic information
    • Add your
      • Transcripts
      • Academic Honor
      • Athletic Honors
      • Other Sports (If applicable)
      • Extracurricular Activities
      • Intended Major
        • You don't have to KNOW what you want now! It will be helpful if you add an idea of what you would like to study. 
  • Start exploring schools using the advanced search tool - aim for 25-30 schools to begin with
  • Upload game film from showcases and tag clips by skill to make it easy for coaches to evaluate you
  • Begin reaching out to coaches before major events like NIF and NIT to get on their watch lists

Sophomore

For Sophomores:

  • Your profile should be completed and updated
    • When your grades are updated so should your profile
    • Update your videos and other information
  • Reach out to schools and keep them updated. If you want to be watched you should be reaching out to schools
    • Let them know about your events
  • Start exploring schools using the advanced search tool - aim for 25-30 schools to begin with
  • Upload game film from showcases and tag clips by skill to make it easy for coaches to evaluate you

Junior

For Juniors:

  • Prioritize consistent communication with coaches on your favorites list - don't let 3-4 months go by without contact
  • Use the roster needs filter to identify schools actively recruiting your position and grad year
  • Check your activity feed regularly to see which coaches are viewing your profile and follow up with them
  • Compare your video to committed athletes at schools you're interested in to gauge realistic athletic fit

Senior/Post-Graduate

For Seniors and Post-Graduate:

  • Constant communication is important! Keep an open line of communication with coaches. Don't 3-4 months go by without contact
  • Use the roster needs filter to identify schools actively recruiting your position and grad year
  • Check your activity feed regularly to see which coaches are viewing your profile and follow up with them
  • Compare your video to committed athletes at schools you're interested in to gauge realistic athletic fit
