our coaches
Summit Field Hockey Club coaches inspire our athletes to reach for more, achieve their goals, to break free from tradition and develop an independent way of thinking about the game of field hockey. Our coaches work on their craft everyday by using a think tank mentality with their counter parts, and putting hours into CN19's coaching education, featuring former Olympian, Caroline Nelson-Nichols who is currently USA field hockey's Director of Masters High Performance.
The game is constantly evolving and so is our coaching staff. We are learning, and relaying this information to our Summit athletes to ensure the latest tactical and technical techniques. Our staff has been a part of almost every level of the game, from youth field hockey, to umpiring with in all divisions of the NCAA, to playing in the Olympic Games. We encourage our athletes to ask questions, be independent and most importantly to have fun!
