These 5-week prep series is designed for middle school students who are new to field hockey or have limited experience. Each week, you'll focus on developing key skills while also gaining a better understanding of the game. The series is progressive, so by the end, you'll be more comfortable handling the stick, passing, and playing in a team setting.

This Field Hockey Hitting Mechanics, taught by USA Field Hockey Olympian Shannon Taylor, is designed to elevate players' techniques, enhance their power and accuracy, and provide insight into the mental and physical aspects of executing a successful hit under pressure. Whether you're a beginner or an intermediate player, this class will help you improve your overall hitting ability and build confidence in your skills.
Shannon Taylor's wealth of experience as an Olympian ensures that you’ll learn the fundamentals and advanced techniques used at the highest level of field hockey. Players will also develop tactical awareness around when and how to use the hit effectively in real game situations.
